This series illustrates four examples of ships and boats used for fishing. They are, in order, a motor boat (100Ø), a fishing cutter (125Ø), a fishing boat (160Ø), and a boat for deep-sea fishing (600Ø).

Birds (4)

This series represents three bird species that inhabit the islands.

* 70 Ø – Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago,  a migratory bird from the European Southwest, which migrates to the North and then to the South of Europe and even to Uganda, Africa.

* 180 Ø – Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus), a bird from Central and Southern Europe that migrates to the North. It is a little longer than 15’’ (40 cm).

* 250 Ø – Whimbrel (Numenius phaeopus, a migratory bird that, from Northern Europe, goes to winter in Africa or along the coasts of Spain. It is a little longer than 15’’ (40 cm).
